Rev’d Dr. Catriona Laing

Prior to joining the clergy team at Epiphany, Catriona served her curacy in a parish in the diocese of Southwark, England. She moved to DC with her husband Sam in early 2015 and came to serve at Epiphany shortly after that. Catriona’s vocation to the priesthood is shaped by a desire to encourage parishioners to deepen their relationship with God through prayer and learning in the many ways in which that can happen.

Before being ordained Catriona worked in inter-religious relations and political research with a particular focus on Muslim-Christian-Jewish relations. This interest has been fuelled by a childhood spent in the Middle East. It developed through doctoral studies in this area and has resulted in a deep love of that part of the world.  For the moment, however, Catriona relishes the opportunity to focus her energy on the many varied and stimulating ministries she has discovered at Epiphany.
