| Tuesday Concert Series |
 |
This series features vocal and instrumental soloists
as well as musical ensembles from all over the Washington
area. The music is mostly classical, but regular attendees
have learned to expect the occasional surprise! Concerts
begin at 12:10pm in the church building and end before 1:00.
It is a free concert, but donations are requested for the
artists. If you work downtown during the week, come in,
support the local music community, and be recharged with
the gift of music.

Recurring Artists
The Washington Bach Consort: Dr. J. Reilly Lewis founded the Washington Bach Consort in 1977 with the goal of studying and performing the complete vocal and instrumental works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries. The Consort has a professional chorus of 16-24 singers, as required, and an orchestra of professional Washington-area musicians noted for their performance of 18th-century music. On the first Tuesday of the month, the Consort’s performance features an organ prelude and a Bach cantata. Directly preceding the cantata, Maestro Lewis gives a brief and engaging history off the work.
The Levine School of Music: The Levine School was begun in 1977 by Ruth Cogen, Diana Engel, and Jaclin Marlin who named the school in memory of Selma M. Levine, a Washington attorney and amateur pianist who took particular delight in encouraging young musicians. The Levine School of Music serves as a vital community resource by embracing two principles that are central to its mission: excellence and accessibility.
