Epiphany Mission Center

missionCenter
At Epiphany Mission Center, we are called to make connections between our faith in Jesus Christ and our actions in the world. Inspired by the life and servant ministry of Jesus, we offer intentional opportunities for groups to deepen and strengthen their faith in order to proclaim a joyful and honest hope for humanity, realize personal and communal transformation, and work for the common good.

Weekend Retreats

The Epiphany Mission Center offers a weekend retreat called EMC-DC which offers groups a chance to explore the question, “Who is my neighbor?” while observing, engaging, and responding to injustice in the world around them. The program fee for EMC-DC is $400 and includes programming from Friday at 6pm-Saturday at 4pm.
Friday Night 6-8pm
Good Night Mr. President- A walking tour of DC Monuments, including the White House (Just 2.5 blocks from Epiphany). The tour includes a few short prayers and time for reflection on how the Church relates to the people and the government in our Nation’s Capital.
Saturday 10am-4pm
Samaritan Saturday- Take a day to live into the parable of the Good Samaritan by walking along the road and responding with love to the needs of those around you. This day is meant to give visiting groups a chance to observe, connect with, and act on behalf of the downtown poor who are our neighbors. There is plenty of time for fellowship and reflection throughout the day.

Build Your Own Retreat
We will happily house you in our Mission Center while you create your own programming or mix-n-match ours with yours, and we are happy to facilitate room reservations in our parish building for you while you stay with us.
We would love to extend an invitation for your group to come stay overnight with us here at The Church of the Epiphany. Our Mission Center can sleep up to 40 people comfortably, including two large and newly renovated bathrooms (with showers) and a kitchenette area with a sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The overnight accommodation cost is $30 per person per night. One visitor recently called our Mission Center “the Hilton of Hostels,” and we would love to extend the same hospitality to you and your group if you choose to stay with us.
