The Washington Men’s Camerata Performs Sunday, March 23rd @4pm

The Washington Men’s Camerata will present a concert, A Night at the Opera, March 23, 4:00pm at Epiphany, featuring choruses from operas familiar and obscure by Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, and others. Works include The Pilgrim’s Chorus from Tannhäuser, choruses from The Magic Flute, and the rousing Stout-Hearted Men from Romberg’s The New Moon.  Soloists Jason Rylander, tenor, and Scott Auby, baritone, lend their voices to the festivities, which promise to be Not the Marx Brothers but just as much fun!”  Tickets are $25 General Admission, $15 Student General Admission, $60 Family Ticket (admits 4). Mardi Gras Party! Tuesday, March 4th from 6-8pm

Celebrate Mardi Gras at The Church of the Epiphany!

On Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 we will be having a BIG TIME PARTY and you’re invited!

The first 100 people to sign up will partake of a delicious New-Orleans style meal, dancing in the streets to a LIVE Dixieland jazz band, and a royal coronation complete with king’s cakes, and a cash bar!

Field Trip To Heaven & Earth, Sunday, Feb. 23rd @1:30pm

We are taking a Field Trip to Heaven, and you’re invited! After Church on Sunday, February 23rd young adults from The Church of the Epiphany, St. Mark’s-Capitol Hill, St. Thomas’-Dupont Circle, Trinity Episcopal-Takoma Park, and Christ Church-Georgetown are going to visit the Byzantine Art exhibit at The National Gallery and we would LOVE for you to join us!
Grab a bite to eat with friends after Church and meet the Episcoposse at the main entrance to the exhibit at 1:30pm. Stay as long or as little as you like.

This is a great time to see some amazing art from the Byzantine period and also to meet some awesome young people in the Episcopal Church. Bring your friends, and an appetite for images of the invisible.

Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington Performs Saturday, Feb. 15th

For the romantics at heart!

Come join the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC as we celebrate songs that have touched the hearts and stirred the passions of generations. From Dolly Parton to songs from Miss Saigon and La Traviata, accompanied by string quartet, piano and oboe.
