Episcopal Relief & Development Celebrates 75 Years

In 1940, the National Council of The Episcopal Church established Episcopal Relief & Development – originally the Presiding Bishop’s Fund for World Relief – to respond to the needs of European refugees fleeing World War II.  Now, working on behalf of the Church with partners in nearly 40 countries, the organization continues its legacy of bringing together the generosity of Episcopalians and others to help communities overcome challenges and create lasting change. September 14 – Homecoming Sunday

Join us at Epiphany for a very special Sunday! There will be Holy Eucharist at 8:00 and 11:00 AM. At the 11:00 service we will commission new members of the choir, our seminarians (Ragan Sutterfield and Ian Lasch), the Director of Epiphany Mission Center (Rebecca Hernandez Ortiz), and new members of the congregation.  We will also welcome the choir back after a summer hiatus! This Sunday marks the 200th anniversary of The Star Spangled Banner. Read a message from Tripp Jones, Epiphany Archivist Emeritus, about our church’s history with the national anthem.
